The Big N’ Tasty returns to HK
Is the McDonald’s Big N’ Tasty actually as good as you remember
If you were around Hong Kong’s food scene a decade ago, you probably remember the Big N’ Tasty. It randomly vanished off the menu, but McDonald's just brought it back out of nowhere.
If you never had it back in the day, here is the quick rundown on what it actually is:
The Original: A beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and a specific smoky sauce that basically carries the whole burger. It's less sweet than a Big Mac and tastes a bit more like a backyard barbecue burger.
The New Variant: They also rolled out a crispy chicken version this time around if beef isn't your thing, using the same smoky sauce and toppings.
Honestly, the sauce is the main selling point here. If you miss the old-school Macca's menu or just want a burger that actually has fresh tomatoes and onions in it, it’s worth picking up for lunch before they pull it from the menu again.
